Art is important!!. Art reflects the way we live, what we use to decorate our homes, what we wear, what we save and keep that makes us feel good. Art is the vibrations that put us in harmony with the universe.

Wood Carving
I participate in the Oklahoma City Wood Carvers Club. (OCWC). When I won my 6th blue ribbon in the annual show, intermediate category, I accepted the title of "Wood Carver". Since that time, I have won several ribbons in open competition. I am the News Letter editor for the Oklahoma City Wood Carvers Club. I use digital photography and MS Publisher to create a timely and topical newsletter.

The background image on this portfolio, is my carving of a pirate, guarding his treasure chest. The carving tells the story of how they squeezed the 'e' out of retirement. Turning the carving around, you will find that the rat has burrowed under the treasure chest and is draining off the gold doubloons, unbeknownst to the pirate. Guitar
I enjoy playing guitar. (after all, it is made of wood) With my interest in carving and wood in general, I may one day, build my own guitar.
Web Design
I have completed the on line course of study with Thomson Education Direct in the Web Page Designer Program. I am currently working on the advanced web design program with Penn Foster Schools.
Digital Photography
I love photography and the opportunity to create artistic visions with digital technology. I use a Sonny DSC-V3 to capture digital images. I use Adobe Photoshop to enhance my photographic creations and to create graphics for use in web design and the creation of our club newsletter.
